Albertus Magnus Pinot Noir Rose 2019

This Estate Bottled small batch rose of hand selected grapes comes from a single vineyard growing a single clone of Pinot Noir. The juice spends a short time on the skins developing a candy cherry color. Yeast strains from Provence are used during fermentation to enhance the complexity and aromas of the rose. The nose has aromas of ripe summer strawberries with hints of citrus and orange zest. Our grapes are harvested early in the season giving the wine a nice balance of natural acidity and a soft body that is followed by a strong red fruit finish. Each cluster is hand selected and sorted before continuing its journey into bottle. Pair with creamy cheeses, poultry dishes or salmon.
